Day 2: Melaka -> Singapore
Short post today.
The highway from Melaka to Johor Bahru is quite a nice one; traffic was relatively light, and speeds were fast.

Made it down to the folks at Southern Bike Barn who managed to upsell me into getting a full detail on the bike + some crash bar bags…really twisted my arm.
I have quickly realised that I am carrying far too many things, and it makes the bike a lot more unwieldy/tiring to ride. After going over a few bumps, I feel like at the current rate it won’t be too pleasant going on rougher surfaces in Laos/Central Asia, So I will try to shift some weight to the front via the crash bar bags to lighten up the rear.
Getting to Singapore (the people’s way) was straightforward, although a bit too much queueing in the heat!

Made it in time for a late dinner in River Valley with some SG domiciled friends.

Tomorrow: back to KL!

Some stats:
- ~224KMs ridden
- 19.3L fuel purchased (tank was empty upon arrival)
- 1 unique interactions
- 0g coffee consumed
- No drops! (although my vizor almost flew off while barrelling down the highway…)
